Walking/Toning Sizing Help, Tips & Information
Proper Fit (Shoes)
Toe Area: Allow .25" to .5" (thumbnails length) of space between the end of the longest toe or largest foot and the end of the shoe.
Width Area: Foot is supposed to fit comfortably without stretching the upper over the midsole of the shoe.
Heel Area: Heel can move but is not supposed to slip.
Choosing a Walking/Toning Shoe
Walking shoes needs to have a flexible sole and more bend in the toe than a running shoe. You should be able to twist and bend the toe area. It should also be lightweight and breathable.
Toning shoes typically utilize a specially designed sole, that may have a curved sole that creates a rocking motion or a sole that includes air pods. They increase the use of certain muscle groups, that are meant to further help tone and trim the lower body.
