Reebok has a rich history that spans more than 50 years. In 1982 Reebok made history by introducing the first athletic shoe designed specifically for women; a shoe for a new fitness trend called aerobic dance. That shoe was the Freestyle, and with it Reebok anticipated and encouraged three major trends that transformed the athletic footwear industry: the aerobic exercise trend, the increase of females in sports and exercise programs, and the acceptance of athletic footwear by adults for street and casual wear. Since then, Reebok has grown from that progress, creating innovative products for exercise and casual wear alike.
In 2011, Reebok partnered with one of the fastest-growing fitness movements of our time, Crossfit. As part of this partnership, Reebok has created a shoe and clothing line made specifically for those who do Crossfit. This line was created using input from Crossfitters and includes everything from hats to tops to pants to shoes. If you are a Crossfitter you can represent your sport from head to toe. Recently Reebok released another specialized athletic wear line, a new dance collection that includes everything from shoes to short bras featuring gorgeous colors and beautiful designs.
Reebok caters to more than just specialized athletes. It has a number of popular running shoes that can be worn in the gym or on the street. The Reebok RealFlex uses 3D Ultralite technology for a lightweight, natural footstrike. The Reebok Zig line uses fun and functional ZigTech to add energy return and cushioning to your run.
